Eolito is a student team founded in the Polytechnic of Turin, engaged in the design and construction of modular wind turbines. Our goal is to allow the autonomous production of electricity, in order to meet the individual daily needs and towards a greener future.
The Eolito Student team was created as an “alternative didactics” project at Polytechnic of Turin, thanks to professor Gaetano Iuso and Aerodynamics Department colleagues. The purpose of the project is to embrace multidisciplinary contexts in order to build innovative and functional products.
Our team designs a vertical axis wind rotor, with the ultimate goal of generating clean energy using a natural source: the wind. The Polytechnic of Turin is particularly interested in environmental sustainability, as it is becoming an increasingly crucial issue with effects on daily life.
